Holy smokes. This blog made me go from laughing to almost tearing in seconds! I understand why you hated the dog but that is so sad how he died. :S And the painting is gorgeous and even more beautiful now that I know the story and meaning behind it. You're amazing Kim. Amazing at painting and blogging and I can tell you're such a really good mommy too. ;) Keep it up.
